Clip of Custo Barcelona ready to wear.

Diane von Furstenberg

The highlight of my mad dash to see as many show as i could at fashion week New York, was to see Diane von Furstenberg, in person. Well worth the embarrassment of getting caught and kicked out, although i managed to sneak in and snag a invite and a product list i wish i could have sat front row maybe next time.would lover to see her create a mens wear collection.

Fashion Week Highlights

Burberry Prorsum

All ways a show stopper Burberry made the top of my list this season. The use of color was not over powering and the cable knit pullovers were modern. I would love a cow fur double-breasted trench coat.

Thierry Mugler

This collection made my top 3 this season. Everything about this collection was marvelous from use of cut, textile, print, and leather it was edgy yet futuristic and refined down to a sophisticated framework for everyone to appreciate and possibly purchase. I wanted and loved so many looks for example the leather pants and the blue cropped shawl blazer.

Trussardi

I loved every bit of it the garments worked well individually loved to see more use of accessories the color scheme. Every look was masculine and sexy.

Yohji Yamamoto

This collection had a retro feel to it the cute was reminiscent of the twenties but modern in refinement.

Ann Demeulemester
this season stuck out to me, the brilliant use of Layering and cut caught my eye. I loved the minimal use of color and the use of print was edgy and innovative. Shying away from not matching added to the garments workability individually and as a cohesive all together.
