Ana González was born and raised in Toledo Spain , she studied design at the University of Fine Arts of Madrid where she has been able to network and collaborate with other artistic organizations through expositions, installations, video-art, photography. in 1997 at University of Fine Arts of Madrid she met Oscar a fellow designer soon after, they came together to create Locking Shocking. for the next 10 years Ana González worked as a creative director of Locking Shocking until the brand dissolved in 2007. Locking Shocking was awarded with the L'Oréal Paris Award for the best young Spring Summer 2003 collection and the Gran Prix de la moda by Marie Claire for the Best National Designer in 2004. In 2008 Ana González founded a new label Ana Locking, her first collection ‘Reentry’ Fall Winter 2008 through 2009 winning the L'Oréal Paris Award for the Best Collection from the Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week.In September 2009 she presented her Spring Summer 2010 collection in New York’s Public Library during the NY Fashion Week.
